What Is Podcasting?
Podcasting generally involves the distribution of audio content using RSS. By making audio content available using RSS, podcasters give listeners more control over what they listen to and when. As many podcasts are available for syndication, this helps to increase a broadcasters exposure.
The distribution of video content will be the next advance in podcasting but currently, audio content is the majority type of content.
Podcasting is generally used for the distribution of:
- Music
- Radio Shows
- Educational/Training
